After one year of waiting, we are so thankful to finally be able to say, Hyunnie is coming home!!! Looking back I can’t believe how many ups and downs our journey had, especially since this was not the typical adoption process, but it’s definitely all been worth it in the end!
Things that I am super thankful for right now:
- Sol coming out to Korea AGAIN just to help bring Hyunnie home — already he’s such a great dad and a great hubby
- My grandfather whose persistence and love helped us adopt Hyunjung, a baby girl who some said could never come to the U.S. because she was considered an abandoned child. Praise God!
- Eastern and Lifelink, the agencies that agreed to help us with the process
- The MANY MANY people who love Hyunnie in Korea and the U.S. and have been praying for her
- Hyunjung’s birthmom, who chose to give her life!
- The jundosanim, who raised our daughter like a princess for the past year
- The new friends we’ve made through this adoption process
- Understanding more of God’s love, sovereignty, and His good and wonderful gift to us - Chloe Eden Hyunjung Bahng!!!
