God-focused

Yesterday we received a devotional from Stephen Curtis Chapman’s foundation Shohannah’s Hope… it was the perfect reminder and encouragement while we wait for HJ to come home. One thing that it challenged me about: remain God-focused, not child-focused. This is hard to do… especially when we have an incredibly cute, giant photo of HJ in our living room and her face is smiling at me from my computer screen… Another good reminder was that God is always on time. Never late, and I would have to say from my experience, usually not early =) I may be angry with certain bureaucratic delays, but God is sovereign and HE is in control! Now my mom is in Korea visiting HJ and I am anxiously waiting to see pictures to see how big she has gotten… It was funny, yesterday Sol prayed, may HJ not just grow physically but spiritually! She is having no problems growing physically, that’s for sure…
