Last Thursday we had another interview with our social worker, our new social worker. She’s nice, but I still don’t know what the purpose of the meeting was.
Today we went to a Korean party for people who have or are planning to adopt children from Korea. I have to say, American people are a lot more open to other cultures, languages, foods, etc. than Korean people. Funny thing is Angela and I are sort of a curiosity to a lot of people because we’re Korean-Americans trying to adopt from Korea. Kind of ironic. They asked us to read part of a poem for this blessing ceremony. Even at a Korean party we’re the token couple.
